Hey guys,

I'm looking for a muzzle device to pin and weld on my next 7.62 semi auto build. I use the Strike Industries J-Comp on my 5.56 firearms and love it, but it is not offered in 7.62. Do you guys know if the Strike Industries King Comp would be MA legal? It is marketed as a brake/comp combination but it has prongs at the muzzle end that seem to be there to cut wire, break glass, poke zombies and other useless tacticoolio reasons. However, I don't know if those prongs can be claimed to act as a flash hider or not. I think their website says they may reduce signature. Any input?

Thanks,

Steve

Can I get a flasherer? Sort of like the Loudener on the Simpsons? That should make it not only legal but Maura Healey super-legal.

Are these laws stupid or what????

Generally, if the manufacturer doesn't call it a flash hider, you are good.

I thought due to the ATF not classifying things since the Federal AWB, the general guidance was it had to be called specifically a muzzle brake by the manufacturer. Of course, there's no legal support for any argument because vague laws are vague.

Yes you can.

A friend of mine has one on a 10.5" machine gun and it is a hoot.
