If anyone is worried about confusion with legally armed students and teachers, maybe they could all buy Concealed Carry Badges, then the police wouldn't have any problem... unless the bad guys bought badges too.

Hmmmmm.... maybe we should license the purchase of Concealed Carry Badges... with a NICS check and an annual fee.

Sounds like a good money making deal for the state.
