Guy set up a website to make donations to the Paws and Stripes program. Skip ahead to 1:45 if you're impatient.

Video must have been shot from here in Massachusetts, cuz if it was New Hampshire (or Kentucky or Arizona or.. etc) the perp would've instead been seen stumbling down the stairs carrying buckshot, or five or six rounds of Federal HST 147 grain.... Internally.

Just sayin'

Smart paratrooper. Showing up barefoot prevents any possible deadly weapon (shod foot) bs.

Seriously? The only reason anyone should be confronting a potential home invader in their underwear with no shoes is in the last possible moment of recognizing someone is trying to get into his house, and then it should be done with a side-arm in hand.

What he should have done was stay inside, get dressed for action, arm himself, call the cops, wait for the creep to break in, and defend himself as necessary.

In some states, they don't even need to fully get in the home before a home-owner can shoot. All they need to do is breach the door or window.
