Mossberg forend.

I just bought a AIM forend. Their is a decent amount of play.
I know this is a problem with the mossberg.
But, does anyone have any tricks to fix this?

I used string with a whip finish on the tube. Still a little bit of play but nearly silent when compared to before. Size of string will determine fit.

once you get enough dirt in the shotgun the slop will be gone.

in other words, use it.

I put a few turns of electricians tape near the ends of the tube to snug it up a little.

does the AIM forend use different action bars?
i've always used mossberg action bars and have tried all sorts of various forends without any problems.

if that's a shitty forend then get yourself a good quality one and you'll be happy. the new magpul one is nice, as are the hogue ones.
