Hey guys has anyone here turned any of their mosins into a sniper one? I'm wondering how hard is it because I have a newer production of a scope from that era and wanted to make a sniper one and the group buy has made me think which one of those rifles would be the best to use. Also who has a good sight to get the bent bolt handle? Let me know your thoughts if its a waste of money or not you can add pictures too I own a Hex receiver one from 1934 that I don't want to touch because I think you have to cut the stock for the scope I have i'm not positive.

It's farily cheap and easy to do something like that. I just mounted a repro scope mount on an old 91/30 that I had kicking around.
Bending the bolt was beyond my abilities, so I sent mine to this guy:

I swear, I had it back in like 4 days. He does great work and has very fast turnaround.
