Moscow to Unveil Statue of Mikhail Kalashnikov

Lets see the snowflakes, racist blacks and white guilt phonies with their recreational manufactured anger go and deface that or try and tear it down or have it removed!!![laugh][laugh][laugh]

Finally, some artwork I can actually appreciate.

We need more statues like this - for sure Sam Colt and John Browning.

Were you looking for suggested designs for Browning statues?

View attachment 207617This would better fit the bill for Massachusetts.

That's one statue that we should pull down. What can we say to be outraged?

Shows insensitivity to US Constitution, shows a disregard of New England manufacturing, shows civilian weapons being destroyed while presumably allowing for armed regimes, racist as it denigrates those from South America (pythons), I'm sure we can make up as much stuff as the lefties do...

We already do, in the form of a statue for Sam Colt

and a museum for John Browning

Plenty of others. Pretty much every famous gun-related American has some type of memorial somewhere in the country.

This type of crap aint gonna fly in Moscow my friend

I didn't know they were making a movie about the crazy old bat

The house is very cool, though. I toured it several times when I was working in the area.

Its racist b/c the original purpose of gun control in this country was to prevent slaves from rebelling.

Just went there a couple of weeks ago. Very cool experience! I also found it completely by accident - literally driving down the highway, got hungry, stopped in some place called "Ogden", looked up what there is to do around there while waiting for my food... oh look, JMB museum less than a quarter of a mile away - don't mind if I do! [laugh]

Pretty much this. In most states guns are everywhere and people like them.

This being New England, we need a statue honoring one of our own native sons, such as Maine born Hiram Stevens Maxim, inventor of the first portable machine gun:

It 'Offends' me. It's got to go.

Yes, supposedly they drilled it out from the monument. If you recall we had a lively discussion on this forum about Soviets copying the German invention and using Kalashnikov as a cover. This sculptor tried to commemorate that fact. This is why such a discovery created so much anger:

The mistake on the monument was spotted on September 21 by historian Yury Pasholok, who wrote on Facebook: "Just don't tell me they did this by accident. You should be beaten for this, hard and in front of people. These are kid-sculptors, dammit!"
