My wife is starting a remote position at a Nebraska Hospital. She sent them your link and all the Docs and Nurses are voting on the names. They think it is awesome.

Not be left out, Massachusetts finally gets in on the act:


MassDOT has announced the winners of their “Name a Snowplow” contest and four local schools were chosen. Elementary and middle schools across Massachusetts submitted their name ideas to MassDOT over the last two months. In total, 12 snowplows will be named during their service in the 2023/2024 winter season. Here are the winners:


  1. Chester: 4th grader Mikayla Menin at Chester Elementary School – Flower Plower
  2. Westfield: 1st grade class at Franklin Avenue Elementary – Glacier Gobbler
  3. Charlton: 3rd grade class at Heritage School – Snow B Wan Kenobi
  4. Malden: 4th grade class at Linden STEAM Academy – Sleetwood Mac
  5. Brockton: 4th grade class at Brookfield Elementary School – Snow-hemian Rhapsody
  6. Boston: 4th grade class at UP Academy Dorchester – Snow Monstah
  7. Shelburne Falls: 6th grade class at Buckland Shelburne Elementary School – Edward Blizzardhands
  8. Orange: 8th grade class at Mahar Regional – Polar Pathmaker
  9. Sturbridge: 5th grade class at Burgess Elementary School – The Snolar Express
  10. Lexington: 8th grade class at William Diamond Middle School – Snow Place Like Home
  11. Orleans: 5th grade class at Orleans Elementary School – The Mayplower
  12. Needham: 7th grade class at Pollard Middle School – Fast and Flurryous
 
Insurance making it hard to make a dollar plowing for the state or towns. Especially when your not getting any hours with no snow the last few years.
