Massachusetts Bill Would Test The Idea Of Universal Basic Income
A bill under consideration at the Massachusetts Statehouse is aimed at testing the idea of a universal basic income.

The long-shot bill would create a pilot program that would include 100 residents in each of three economically diverse cities or towns. At least one of the communities would be located in a rural part of the state.
Because it's worked so well everywhere else it's been tried.

Thought it's being called a long-shot bill, that just means IMNSHO it's the kind of bill that could get passed in a rush at/after the end of the current session.

This is the equivalent of "socialism hasn't worked because it hasn't been done the right way". These experiments have failed every single time they've been tried but here the idiots of MA are insisting they know how to make it work. 300 people will hit the MA lottery without even having to be a toll worker for a few years and the rest of us will pay for it
