The TB Times pulls no punches on local LE. Remember last fall when they exposed Pasco Sherrif's pre-crime program?

"he admitted that the amount he took was 'excessive.'" I don't think the amount of ammunition he took was the issue. The issue should be WHY he took it: "Bingham took the ammunition home in his personal vehicle, stored it in his garage and planned to use it at a family-owned location in another state, according to the investigation."

Thankfully the police chief was black. Without "feeling for the black community" I doubt any responsibility would've been taken for this whatsoever.

Break down door at wrong address. Not even the modest of actual investigation went into obtaining and executing the warrant.

This is the problem I have with these 'police raids'. They show up at the wrong house, hold the people at gunpoint, rip the house to shreds, realize that they are at the wrong place and then.....do nothing. No apologies, no nothing. They go into hiding. If I'm not mistaken there are several incidents right here in MA where police showed up at the wrong house and treated innocent people like criminals and when they realize they wrecked the wrong house they disappear only to later on hide behind qualified immunity when the homeowner asks the police to repair the damage that they themselves created.

Police weren’t sure if she was actually a victim, so made sure she was.

Weren’t sure if she was assaulted so they assault her themselves. Now they know!

When someone suspects there may be domestic violence and actual domestic abusers show up.

But don’t worry. They investigated themselves and found it unacceptable, so promoted him.
