Two days. Lots of miles walked. Tonight I had at least 30 whitetail deer around me. Unfortunately, the closest they came was 90 yards.
It was a fun hunt though. I got to watch two fawns feeding on moma's milk. That was a first for me. Had a coyote working the edge of the field. I watched him lay down and just wait. I laughed because I was doing the same thing. Eventually he made way toward me. He was at 15 yards before that oh shit feeling came over him and he ran for his life.
Tomorrow we try to get some Hungarian partridge.
