Monadnock Rod and Gun - We Need Your Help

What a crock.ill try and scrap something together for you. The events held there are important because families can afford to come.
Between my vet bills and several shoots i paid for and didnt attend I'm struggling.
But as an example pretty much the only other shoot in NE cost me $750 to not show up for.....monandock its free MG shooting and lunch for what $35.

Id say We'll have to just move the shoots to my place but in MA "everythings illegal"

Just made my weekly donation.

FWIW, PayPal allows for "Charitable" contributions. I wonder if there's a way you guys can get whatever status it is that would allow that. Some employers actually do charitable matches if the organization has whatever the appropriate IRS status is. No idea if it's doable, that's a lawyer and accountant thing, but if it is, contributions would be deductible too:)

I am writing this post as a representative of MRGCI and asking for the help of the NES community. We have encountered a situation where a group of people are using local government in an attempt to attack our range. MRGCI, as recently reported, has a current case open with regards to a land dispute involving a section of the range property. Our range has been active since 1940, on the same plot of land, with posted borders in the area of dispute.
In retaliation of filing this case, some antis who for years have been filing frivolous complaints with police, are attempting to create false accusations about land use and false claims of wetlands impact. As you all know this sort of action has been tried before at other locations in New England to shutdown ranges. While the laws in NH strongly shield ranges and are in our favor, we still need to mount a defense, which means legal fees.
We have retained Penny Dean as legal counsel for our defense over the past months and she is living up to her reputation as a strong firearms attorney. We are a relatively small club with a 300 member cap and low membership cost. As this will likely be a long process it will put financial pressure on the club. If anyone can help with donations to the club to help us in this fight, we would greatly appreciate any generosity that may be found here at NES or from anyone you may know who is familiar with our range and the events we cater. We continue to share our club, providing a venue for great experiences for pro-2A communities including NES, and we will continue fighting to maintain our rights to do so in the future.

If you wish to donate or know others who can, please have any contributions sent either through our standard Paypal account we use for events at [email protected] or mail them to us at Monadnock Rod and Gun, PO Box 82, Jaffrey, NH 03452. We are a filed non-profit if you are recording anything for tax purposes. If using Paypal please use just the word "Donation" as the description.

Monadnock is hosting a 3D archery shoot this Sunday, 8/12, as part of the Granite State Bowhunter's League - great way to practice for bowhunting season and also support local clubs. (30 target 3D course)
3-D Schedule | Granite State Bowhunters

Registration (start time) for GSB shoots is typically from 7am - 10/11am.

Don't quote me on this: I think it is $12 for GSB members, and $15 for non-GSB members. Most of that goes to the club, and only a small fraction (less than a dollar if I recall correctly), goes to the GSB organization.

p.s. Westford Sportsmen's Club will be hosting a 3D shoot on 8/26

The continual harassment from the antis is disgusting. It would be great if there is some way they can be held financially responsible for all the expenses the club incurs from having to deal with this BS. I will plan on sending a check out soon. Sorry to hear about this.
I sent a few bucks. The financial responsibility angle is a good idea but we need to start playing dirty with these people. Nothing illegal mind you but outing these a**h***s and every little bit of dirt we can find, make it known. Let them think twice next time.

Yep! For example: The guy attacking the Westminster club in MA was exposed to have a vested interest in development of adjoining land.

Exactly. How fast do you think that annoying bald kid from parkland Florida would go away (Emma Gonzalez I think her name is) if it was found out someone in her family is here illegally. I’m sure a lot of people wouldn’t be comfortable going to that level but time to take the gloves off folks.

How long have they been a member?
Not sure I'll have to ask. I'm 49...if that points you in right direction. He is also sporting a nice bloody dimple over one eye right now lol

Edit: scratch that dimple. That was last year. I suck at reading time lines lol
