Lots of illegal here. But, as many police departments seem to think that laws don't apply to them, this happens.

Is this the same "Miami Police Department" that was balls deep in shaking down cocaine dealers and smugglers around the city back in the 1980's, stealing their product, taking payoffs, killing rivals, then turning around and even selling the stuff themselves (after taking out their fair share for personal use of course)........You mean that MPD?

If ever there was a completely corrupt and lawless gang of badged thieves, the Miami PD is one.

Been to New Orleans !

Why would police start obeying the law now? If they have to follow the law then what is the point of being a cop?

Personally I'm ok with the firearms bought back sent to the Ukraine but I'm not sure if a bunch of electrical taped together small 38s and a couple bb guns will do much good. Especially after any cream is skimmed off the top by the locals.

Forget about the laws ... shipping a bunch of hunting rifles and AR will be useless over there due to several logistics complications to get proper parts and ammo.

This is clearly a buy back and the officers will be keeping the guns.

waiting on a Miami PD press release stating:

"Due to the export limitations of Firearms, we have decided instead to Destroy them. Thanks for your turn-ins. ~MPD"

Why would they personally want trash? A lot of buyback fodder, dealers won't even touch.
