Howard, Wish I could come to this, but we're having a family reunion that weekend (the wife's family [rolleyes] ), and I was told that missing it would be unacceptable! [angry][angry2]

A question for those that have never show IDPA before. What does the different tiers mean. Is tier one for those on the top of the sport or is geared more towards beginners.

1.2.1. Match Tiers- Matches will be categorized by tiers, with a local monthly club match being tier one (1) and a national level match being tier five (5)

Thanks. I shoot USPSA and have never done IDPA, so was interested to know the difference.

The USPSA equivalent is "Level" to IDPA's "Tier"

USPSA Match Levels
Level I — Club matches conducted on a scheduled basis throughout the year.
Level II — Sectional or State matches conducted on an annual basis.
Level III — Annual championship matches conducted by USPSA Areas (1 - 8).
Nationals — Annual USPSA championship matches.
