I just received a letter informing me of a recall of all chip McCormick AR 15 match triggers made from May 2007 thru December 2007. The defect may cause the rifle to double fire.
Chip McCormick is supplying postage paid envelopes to return said triggers. if you have a CMC trigger in your AR contact them on the recall. I have one in my AR that was installed by a gunsmith in NH rather than return the lower receiver to have him remove it I would like to remove the trigger myself,are the pins that hold the trigger in place like the pins that join the upper and lower receiver and do I need the proper punches to remove them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
