Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Ruger Massachusetts IDPA Championships from the scheduled dates of June 12-14th 2020 to September 18-20th 2020.
Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has issued guidance closing all non-essential activities across the state through April and as a result Woburn Sportsmen's association has also closed the club to all group activities and events through April. Even assuming all the quarantines and social distancing guidance was suspended on May 1st, this will greatly reduce the time we would have for physical preparations we would need to complete in order to put on a match to the expected level of quality by early June.
So after considering these factors, consulting with the WSA board, the WSA IDPA Leadership team and the IDPA State and Regional coordinators we came to this difficult decision.
