I spent a few hours there today. Shot 150rds on my new Glock 17, 28rds on my S&W 686P, 100rds on my Ruger Mark III and 40 rds on my AR-15... What a good day. So satisfying when there's a big hole where the bullseye used to be (ok, and some more holes all over the place, but lets not count those).
Are you going on a guided tour tomorrow, and if so, with whom?
Lots of great guys there. I'm hoping to see more women-folk some day, I'm one of a handful. Always like that nobody has talked down to me or made me feel uncomfortable. Great place. I hope you join us!
I'm not going on a guided tour. I called last week and they said to just show up. Hopefully, some kind soul will be willing to stop shooting long enough to show me around.
Luckily I have work today so I won't be there to ignore you while I go on a shooting extravaganza... [twisted]
I'm sure there'll be plenty of people there to show you around. You might want to try going on Sunday instead because the office will be open between 8 and noon.
there will definitely be a ton of people. Plus that's when they have the trap shoot going. There are always a lot of people there on a Saturday but the door isn't usually unlocked unless the office is open.
Well, I ended up joining. The ranges were decent, but most importantly it's 24hr access. Due to my work schedule, most of my shooting will be after 8 or 9 pm. It seemed like a great place to zip in and throw 50 rounds down range on my way home.
Yay glad to have you! I was just there again today. I can't get enough of the place, really.
The 24 hour access is great, just a pain right now because they're changing over the key system. Did you get a key or do you have to wait to get one of the fobs?
