Below is a link to the mass.gov showing current statistics on firearm licenses as of April 1, 2020.
Attached are two files I exported to clean up the data. One is a pdf file with all categories listed. The other is the Excel file with the data in a pivot table and a slicer added so you can parse the data to the category that interests you.

This is great information.

To make it even more interesting, it would be cool to see how many are restricted and what the percentage of restricted LTC's are.

For such a small community, Littleton sure seems to have a lot of firearms and ammo vendors licenses.
Why is that?

The MILL!

Royalston MA 498 Households 308 gun owners (that bother to get their LTC ;)) ....over 60%! Break into a house in Royalston and there is a very real risk you won't be walking away [rofl]

State of MA is about 20% in comparison.
Where do you get this data, and conclusions? Also, beyond your questionable conclusion and numbers in the first place, there can be more than one license holder in a household, so 60% of households are not necessarily armed.

I'm one of the 9180 in Boston.

Also, 13 licensed to own a machinegun, only one licensed to sell. Damn.

Boston seriously needs to pump those numbers up, at least on the LTC.

Ugh... there are 33% more machine gun licences in freakin' CAMBRIDGE than in Billerica.

How does Canton still have 13 LTC-Bs still? Did they force everyone into an LTC-B and those are the last who haven't had to renew?

probably something like that. IIRC, 2014 was the last year for Bs, so those folks should be freed when they renew this year...assuming Canton doesn't "forget" to fix it for them.
