I didn't see this posted anywhere else and I just ran across it myself (nothing on the search feature).

From what I'm reading they introduced legislation last year that would require a big orange stripe needs to be on the side of the barrel as well as a big orange tip the same color as the barrel. It would allow for confiscation if your "toy" gun didn't meet these requirements. It applies to air soft, paintball, etc. and I may not be getting this all right so here's a link to the facebook page and that page has a link to their main page with details on the bill. It went to committee just the other day.

I know this isn't effectively a "gun" thing, but many of us use these types of replicas for practice in a safe manner and I'm sure a lot of you own something that you spent money on that you would prefer not to lose or have to buy all new equipment.

If this is a problem posting here, no problem. If it's something of interest I'm sure you want to be heard.

I already passed this info on to the airsoft people in MA and also to B52 an indoor airsoft range in Chicopee. It's surprisingly very popular in this state. I was actually amazed when I was in Salem this summer and sandwiched in between some witch stores was an airsoft store selling scary looking super realistic guns.

I have a black with brown grips "1911 style" squirt gun. Is this also included? Can I turn it in for $200 in groceries or Target gift card? Please? I think it leaks.
