I just want some of you to know, that once in a while, Martin misses a good find. I sneaked this one out of his home town before he could get his hands on it. It is amazing but true, and it is most likely the only time it will happen.
Here is a JP Sauer Model 1919 in 6.35 (25 ACP). It is a first variation, all matching (assembly numbers) with original magazine and a rare Germany import mark. I do not know much about these yet but I got some good help from a guy from Germany over on another forum. At first I thought it was not matching but then was told that Sauer matched by an assembly number that was different than the serial number. There are far fewer guns that bear the German import mark so it is more desirable. I think this is the first gun I have that the import mark is a plus.
I was actually looking for a 7.62 Model 1913 but when I came across this little 25, which is about 3 times harder to find, I grabbed it. Thanks for looking and sorry Martin.
