My marlin seems to be jamming frequently and catching ejected shells in the bolt. I have cleaned it very thoroughly and it still seems to be doing it. Any suggestions?

Have you tried other brands of ammo?

Yep, federal HV, federal HV hollow points, and remington standard and high velocity.

Just my $.02...

This seems to a trait of this rifle. I have one, it's accurate and fun but it demands frequent cleaning and I've found using dry lube helps.

A tip on cleaning this rifle...

Carbon seems to build up on the back side of my bolt. I have to remove the receiver from the stock, and get in there with some gun scrubber from time to time. You'd be surprised at how much crap will get between the bolt, and receiver cover.
