Mansfield’s rifle team (Joe Caires, Don Norris, Erik Hoskins, Dan Holmes) set a South Shore Summer League record last night with a 774-22x out of 800, standing, at 200 yard yards.

That was my question too. I don't follow the sport and I don't know any of the shooters, do you?

Yep...
one in the same.
First relay starts shooting at 6pm on Tuesdays, 10 matches total I think last night was #6
We will be there thru Aug 11th At Ames R-P in the South Shore League.

2 of those shooters shot the score with a 22LR

Very impressive I must say...

The course of fire is 22 shots fired with the top 20 count all standing 200 yards with just about any rifle that will hit it.
