About 12-15 years ago, the GF and I were in the parking lot of a nearby packie and some scummy looking shitbag and
his equally lice infested GF approached us offering to sell us a triple digit winning scratch card for half the pay-off.

His story went something along the lines that it was more than the lottery agent/packie was responsible to pay for
from cash on hand, and they were both catching a flight out of Logan the next morning and couldn't make the trip
to the state lottery HQ for the winnings.

I had a brief moment of boiling point blood pressure levels, then just decided it wasn't worth it and told the
shitheels we weren't interested.
