I bought a Sig p232 last night for my wife, with 2 boxes of PMC Bronze ammo.
The first cartridge went in fine, but the next one would not feed.
I had some Privi .380 ammo that I brought, and it went into the mag fine.
I brought the PMC back to the store with the mags, and they replaced the ammo with American eagle ,which also fit the mag. Upon examination the new sig mags have an elongated dimple at the top. This stops certain ammo from being used.
Any thoughts as to why they would limit the brand of ammo to only a certain few?

Thanks, Mike

I plan to ,as I have a few other questions for sights and other items I want to buy.
My concern is the reloading aspect. I will have to examine the extraction groove to make sure it will fit the mag. [sad]

Dunno, but perhaps a call to Sig in Exeter, NH will get you an answer, which you might be kind enough to report back here.

Called Sig today.
The service tech told me that the Gov. had made the request for all of their magazines. So thats how they are sending them out. He will replace mine with the original style for free.
