Hmm, looks interesting. Since I didn't receive any Email about it from LFGC, I'm assuming it's so new on Mas' agenda that it hadn't been sent out yet.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Has anyone attended his classes yet? I was geared up to make the reservation for Thunder Ranch but this would be a lot closer and cheaper. Both Mas and Clint were at the top of my list but funds are a little shorter after the baby came so TR would serve me better next year. Everything I've read about MAG40 is that it is beyond comparison to other courses especially regarding the justified use of force training.

IIRC @M1911 took this course years ago. Perhaps he can give a review for us?

I took LFI-1 back in 2008. (About two years later he changed the name to MAG-40.) At the time, it was an $800. your-satisfaction-guaranteed-or-your-money-refunded steal of a deal. (Nowadays, it's $1200., and I'm not sure whether that satisfaction-guaranteed policy survived the change from LFI to MAG.) In any event, nobody in my class wanted their money back, and I serious doubt that anyone in your class will want their money back either. Great course, everyone should take it, and that's all I have to say about that.

I took LFI-1 with Mas in 2004. [devil]

The classroom portion is invaluable, especially for folks living behind enemy lines in the northeast.

And Mas is hysterical. [cheers]

I took it in 2008 (LFI-1).

Took MAG-20 in 2018. (Same as MAG-40 but ONLY the last 2 days which are classroom only)

The class in 2008 was my first big name instructor class. It was a needed foundation for the next 11 years of training.

This training is worth it for double the price.

I would like to take MAG-20, again. Busy that weekend, though.

Clear your schedule, make a hotel reservation, and commit to this. It could save you life and keep you out of jail IF you have no choice but to use lethal force.

In the mean time read this:
