This may be a common sense answer but ill ask anyway.

If you shoot idpa or any other league in ma and you own a new gun you can only use 10 round mags?

ex. If you run a M&P pro series its an new gun so theres no pre ban mags. You can get high cap out of state tho...

A Glock 34 can run preban mags that can hold many more rounds...

Is this just another advantage of buying a glock.

Maybe i have the rules mixed up. I know whatever capacity mag you use, you have to use all the same.

Thanks -Doug

I don't know anything about IDPA, but I do know that possession of a "large capacity" magazine (10+ rounds) manufactured after 9/13/94 by anyone other than "a LEO for purposes of law enforcement", is a felony (M.G.L. c.140 s.131M).

Thanks. Being Limited to 10 rounds makes sense to me. Guess i could have just looked at the rules closer. Thanks for the help
