Haven't read the opinion but since Alito is on the record as against full autos and Roberts isn't keen either, we are better off if they ignore it.
The 2a is a prohibition, directed squarely at government at all levels. Any and all violations of that amendment by any government official should be met with a death sentence.
I don't know the facts of the case at issue, but in any case like this the subject of the origninal matter has to be "pure" or pretty close to it or we would run the risk of another Rahimi like decision.
