This is the last of my recent new guns. Now I am going back to "not collecting" anymore.
It is a French MAB Model D with the early take down. Based on the serial number and info I can pick up on line, it was made just before occupation. It is in a period French made holster with an extra mag for a full rig. The condition of the finish on the gun is not all that great. The holster is in great condition which makes me think the holster was a later addition by a previous owner. I do not mind guns with a little well used "character" as long as they were cheap as this one was. Considering when it was made, its lack of import marks, and its condition, I like to think this one has been there and done it. Perhaps with the Resistance? Who knows. Thanks for looking.
