Following that line of reasoning, it's just gone through 3 sets of hands before becoming a dangerous "weapon". Ya know something hun? There's always going to be an extremely small percentage of A holes who are going to do harm and get guns - no matter WHAT laws are in place. The only way to stop it is to let the people carry for personal protection everywhere. That way, when the stupid bad guys pull anything out, there will be numerous good guys (and women ) drawing down on him. Ever read "More Guns, Less Crime"?? Try it.
