MA Leaves Firearm Retailers Out in the Cold With Emergency Loans.

Only five types of businesses we declared ineligible for Massachusetts emergency small business loans. Firearm retailers was one of them!

"Ineligible businesses include companies involved in real estate investment, multi-level marketing, adult entertainment, cannabis or firearms. Companies with past due tax liabilities or tax liens or currently in bankruptcy (Corporate or Personal) are not eligible."

The big problem is if states or municipalities both deny emergency loans to gun stores and shut down sales, like what we're seeing in IL and LA. That's effectively murdering an industry under the guise of a pandemic.
That's been the plan for a long time.

Not gonna happen, and it hasn't happened. The hype about IL was all just hype, the mayor didn't shut anything down.

Yea that's kind of bullshit. Not that any of the gun shops are hurting right now lol
Exactly! That is why gun men stores are not included. They are not being negatively affected by current events.

But no, don't let the facts confuse the whiners.

Adult entertainment?!

I must be missing the lines of people dropping wads of cash for single moms to grind their scantily clad bodies and sketchyness on them.

Also of note: alcohol retailers and gambling establishments are not exempt, so this isn't a vice clause.

I find this more curious than anything else. Gun shops are the absolute epitome of small business. [thinking]

But it is loony leftist Massachusetts after all. Logic has nothing to do with policy (or vice versa). [slap]

“Not being negativity affected” is irrelevant.

1) Neither are supermarkets, but they’re not exempted.
2) As soon as all retail is shut down by executive order, gun shops WILL be negatively affected.
