I sold my 1912 Nagant to a N.E.S.r this afternoon who was mighty pleased with it. After he left, I drove to the UPS hub and picked up my new M95 Nagant. I ordered this one from the same distributor, but requested wooden grips. I asked for the oldest date possible and received a 1906. This one was also a Tula. As before this one is in 100% arsenal refurbished condition, but this one is 100% matching on all 4 serial numbers, and you can still see the feet of the Czarist Eagle. Bore is good, and the wooden grips much more comfortable. Just a wipe down tonight after confirming the side-plate SN. As is my fate in a righty world, the head of the side plate screw is on the right, so a left hand shooter gets their inner side thumb chewed up a little. I guess you can't get everything! Included a 1964 Soviet holster (a little mold), spanner, and cleaning rod.

P.S. Invaliduser, I have the other spanner if you want it. I forgot about it.

Range report. 41 feet, windy, partly sunny, 61 degrees. 35 rounds 1988 surplus. All misses out of the box were double action. Seems to hang up on one chamber on double action where the case gets crimped by the breech, but can pass by on single action. Two chambers need a hard vertical surface to push the case out.

Checked the cylinder when I got home. As expected, two are snug enough to hold the cartridge in place when upside down. And Damn, if one case neck sticks out the tiniest but more than the other six.
