Heat gun and some naphtha cleaned them up nicely
I ended up with a cheap repro . It does not feel as cheap as the price $11There are lots of scabbards on eBay but they aren't cheap.... looks as though they would end up costing more than the bayos did!
I didn't pump the naphtha at high pressure through the heat gun nor did I heat the bayonets beyond flash point or even the Curie Point.30 years firefighting, those words sent a shiver down my spine.
