that coin is what .70" ? distance is 25 yards? about 2.75-3 MOA..... very good for a carbine.
Part of the "accuracy" doubts are from the actual "accuracy and targeting" Requirements of the M1 carbine set by the War Department.I don't know why people think carbine's are so inaccurate. My inland did quite well last summer in the postal league...
50 yards on Caldwell 8" target and superimposed the 50yd B-6 rings on it after taking 10 shots.
That translated to a 99 - 6x
15 shots @ 100yds with the same gun and ammo:
Well then more like 4 moaDon’t know if I could compete...I need to be seated with a rest. I’d like to try offhand, but have major balance issues.
Let’s have another carbine shoot....or maybe a “M1 shoot”....so those without carbines can play. Or they can come play with me as I have 2 now.
Diameter of a half dollar is 1.205 inches. It covers all 15 hits with 2 half holes visible...damn.

verticle stringing is all the huffing and puffing after running to and fro 200 yards! God bless ya T, I,know i I feel after trecking 200 yards with my arthritic hips.!Carbine at 200 yards. Haven't shot 200 yards since my heart attack, and it will be another two years before I do again....it's too much work. Shot a whole bandolier of mostly LC 50/52/54/56, with one stripper of WRA45 mixed in. Put about 50 on steel and 70 on paper. Lots of vertical stringing until I found out 6:00 low+ was what was needed. Still, not bad for 200.
