I know there are some fit issues with Boyd's stocks on the Garand. Anyone have any experience with their stocks for the carbines?

I asked the same question recently, I was told that they are a little heavier than a standard carbine stock. Someone recommended Fulton Armory for Carbine stocks.

Yes. They are heavier and thicker all around and I had to dremel out a small cut in the action cut to allow the magazine catch to function.

Wenig has garand and carbine listed in their 2007 catalog. I have purchased 2 semi inletted you finish them stocks for my Browning Gold shotgun. Gave plenty of meat to work with for a great fit.
They will fit your stock if you send them the gun, personally I would only do this if you where getting some high end wood. There standard wallnut on the shotgun stocks is strong and of good function
