M&P M2.0 Compact Pistol Selected as 2019 American Rifleman Handgun of the Year

Is this Mass Legal, yet?

Yes!

New Pistols | Four Seasons Firearms

How is the trigger?

Is it 10 lbs like the rest of S&W triggers in Mass?

Keep in mind a G19 has 50% more ammo capacity.

Edit:

That award is very impressive though...

It even beat out the HK VP9.

I don't know why mag capacity matters so much to me when it comes to 9's. I think I just don't like being told I can't own M&P or VP with 15rds so I just stick with my G19 with pre bans. It's a psychological thing, really. Though I do want 2.0... but in .45☝

I’m not seeing the “innovative in design and function” part.
“Hey! Let’s award handgun of the year to this pistol in March!”

“Should we pick an innovative design?”

“Hm...let’s pick the design that’s been around for over a decade and adapted itself to copy a design that’s been around for 3 decades!”

“Sounds good.”

It’s also interesting that so many of these are on the used gun boards here, as well as at places like Four Seasons, MFS, Gun Parlor, etc. It seems like people buy them because they are relatively cheap when new, they mod them to varying degrees, and then dump them.

They all have less than one hundred rounds and are absolute tack-drivers too. [banana]
