M&P 15-22. Legal in Mass?

Go full tacticool…

Go full tacticool…

so typical, just makes me hurt...
"Rifle is in like new condition. I don’t recall ever firing it."

i wonder how many out there are like that.

Too many… someone saying “I have never fired the gun” is not the same as someone saying “never been fired”. A quick pinky in the chamber and carbon residue says different.

Is saying “low round count” like rolling back the odometer on a car?

I tend to hear… blah, blah, blah… I shot it but still want to get close to retail price, blah, blah…

Pretty sure they are. I'd check your favorite Mill FFL or you can ask a local FFL that does transfers if kosher.

1. Yes
2. No

Explanation: FFLs have been stocking these long after the ban. They are legal.

Questions remain: would you want to get hacked on the MA markup (fixed stock and muzzlebrake they would make you install)? Would you be better off building and then installing a 22 LR conversion bolt and swapping bolts and mags in your own custom build? Is the S&W M&P15-22 even worth it considering its lackluster qualities mirror those of its older but equally dim-witted cousin, the S&W M&P15? You be the judge!

What? These are easily had in mass.

Got one years ago on the cheap from a dealer in ma. I’m a fan.

Even four seasons sells them. Nuff said.
