.Here is my question for anyone that can help me, I am a long time LTC carrier until recently when my permit was given restrictions which I don't deem fair. I got my first permit in Peabody in 1996 with no restrictions on it and enjoyed my ability to carry concealed. I took a new job out in Chicopee Ma and bought my first house in Springfield Ma, I bought a house I could afford not thinking about the Police chief in charge of issuing permits. The first time i renewed my LTC in 8/2005 restrictions went from "none" to "lawful Target & hunting" with the lawful still on my permit I assumed carrying concealed was still in that wording, In 2011 I had to renew again and this time the Restrictions became" Target and hunting". I called the police officer in charge of licenses and He told me the city of Springfield does not issue permits with no restrictions to anyone But "Police, Lawyers and Judges". I was told i don't have the right to walk around toting a gun. AT the time I meant to look into fighting this, but got a new job and have since moved from Springfield Ma. I now live in Nahant Ma, I want the restrictions taken off of my permit with this ever crazy world we live in. Could you help me should I apply again Nahant? I am already leaning towards moving out of state, this is just another "nail in the coffin"! I am a member of the US Air force reserves and feel like I have served long and hard to protect my Constitutional rights, and don't want them trampled on by this Socialistic Ruling class that has taken over. It makes me sick that New England is the birthplace of our American freedom and how it has turned into a monarchy.
