This is incorrect .A class B License to Carry, does not allow any type of carry, only the possession of Lo cap hand guns, and all long arms.
A LTC-B specifically does not authorize concealed carry. Open carry is fine (subject to all the usual restrictions on open carry). For example, an armored car guard could open carry a revolver with a LTC-B. Is this common? No. Does anyone even do it? No idea. Is it legal, and sufficient to prove that the statement "LTC-B does not allow any type of carry" is inaccurate? Yes.
MA gun laws tend to be poorly written since the authors have such a distaste of guns that they do not fully learn the issues or engage the counsel of people who do. For example, the NY exemption for possession of handguns by non-residents without a permit is very specific (a 48 hour window). MGL provides a similar exemption, but leaves the size of the window surrounding the dates of the competition vague and undefined - making it impossible for someone who wants to shoot a match during an extended visit to MA to know if the exemption will extend to his/her entire trip into the DPRM.
