lost my im conversation

got an im from a member about a gun i'm looking for, i responded.
went into my conversations tonight, and the im conversation is not there?
any idea / thoughts

I'm almost certain that the person was banned. I also got an IM from someone looking to sell me something from a WTB ad. It was very suspicious the way it was worded, and was going to report it when I wasn't on my cell. It has now disappeared.

I did show all and had 2 other conversations from last month
Don’t remember the name so no way to know if they were banned

found the user name in my email did a search system said profile not available
not sure if that means banned?
