Lost beagles in Bridgewater, MA

A friend in Bridgewater, MA has what appears to be a couple hunting beagles with bells on lost in the woods abutting their property for the last few hours. They won't come over, so their tags can't be looked at. Anyone know anything about this?

I've found yelling out "Want to go for a walk?" and having a leash on hand is fairly successful...

I've often had luck going towards a stray dog, pulling a tissue or something crinkly sounding out of my pocket, and saying 'hey, what's this?' like it's a fun thing I just found. The dog will then come over to check it out and I've been able to grab a collar.
