I'm looking around for my first 1911 and I keep falling back to a DW Valor in black. Every time I see a picture of one I know its the one. Anyone seen any around for sale anywhere? Are they as damn nice as they look?

Thank you for your input, the Valor gives me a funny feeling when I drool over the pics so it will be that one. I see other ones and I just don't want a rail on it, my plastic guns have them and I don't want one on my 1911.Yes they are as nice as they look. I just got a black Specialist, because I have a thing for the clark-rib-flattop look. The only thing I could possibly not like about that gun is the grips are like cheese graters, but that gun don't go anywhere in your hand. I think the Valor has less aggressive panels on it by default.

PM Parker Duofold or maybe he will chime in soon. He's got a few DW 1911s, including a Valor if I recall. I love my DW PM9, don't think I'd ever sell it.
