Looking for info on an older baretta handgun

That says 7.65 for "7.65 Browning" which is compatible with .32acp and while not having identical SAAMI specs is essentially the same round.

A lot of older Berettas are marked as such - don't worry about it... guessing from the picture you have a Model 1915/17, or a Model 1934/35?

That marking can also mean 7.65 Luger - which is a bottleneck cartridge and viewing the chamber this would be apparent - but I don't believe Beretta made much in that chambering. Ditto for 7.65 Longue which was pretty much made for only two weapons. Both are older cartridges that fell out of popularity, and pistols chambered in them would date to the earlier half of the last century. 7.65 Browning / 32acp was still very common in the LATTER half of the past century, and is still kicking in this century (to some degree) so ammo won't be scarce.

Congrats! You have a trigger guard! Like stated already, its probably 7.65 Browning, the Euro equivalent of .32ACP. We would need to see more of the gun to give a more definitive answer.

Get rid of it before you kill your wife/gf. Although on the plus side, you'll be found not-guilty.
