Check out the online marketplaces.
Here is one on GB with a buy it now price of $1300. It looks to be similar to yours.

Once you have a free state price, bump the price a bit since it can't be purchased in MA.

Go "green" and become a paying member of NES and list it here.

I have found that doing sales through NES is much less hassle than other places. The membership here is made up of good people.

If you don't want to handle the transfer yourself, then put in the ad that you will meet the person at a dealer near you. Be sure to put in the ad who is going to pay the transfer fee.

Be patient - this isn't a P365. It may take some time for the right buyer to find it.

PM me if you want some help selling this. I can help you write an ad an recommend some dealers.
Look at my feedback score. I've sold a lot of guns through NES over the last decade or more.

I'm very sorry to hear that. New current Gen PC 1911's with your set up MSRP for $1800. In reality, the equivalent to yours can be had for $1650. Don't forget the S in MSRP - suggested. I can't nail down when yours in particular was made, But it may have been as low as $1200 MSRP.

Your pistol in similar condition has been sold recently on GB for $1,000, and that means about $1100 once all fees, shipping costs, and transfer costs are paid by the buyer.

So for a private sale, $1000-1100 is what I'd be asking.

SW PC 1911 is on the MA AFR

If you're a non-paying member and you start a "What is My Gun Worth" thread, it will be deleted.

flotter had a compact old-school PC commander years ago. It was under $1K at the time. The original PC pistols were out of favor for whatever reason at the time.

I should have bit. The spherical bushing got me scared. That and I've NEVER carried a 1911. Stupid hunk of metal! But part of me regrets that decision. LOL

$2,300 sounds high. Too many decent-quality budget 1911's these days.

Honestly the value retention on that is not going to be great if I really wanted money for it I would either be selling it only to friends or I would just be keeping the thing rather than getting soaked on it on the open market.

as no one gave poor man anything useful - go to gunbroker, login with an account, and to the right from the search field click 'advanced' and see completed listings.
that will give a snapshot of the price fork on your item.

I guess you didn't notice my post with a link to a gun broker auction for EXACTLY the same gun. The ones in your screen scrape are much later models.

I will give you $25 for the case plus shipping.
My case was cheap as f*** , hinges where junk and the lock stuck after only a year. I ended up trading my first PC 1911 iirc 2005 first year model 2003 I bought mid 2004
Anyway paid $1350 then traded at ktp towards a browning gold GT O/U trap gun gave me $1600 towards the shotgun

I ended up buying another new PC 1911 in 2015 ish for $1500
IF i xan get $2300 I would take it.

Its a nice gun for sure compared to my generic sw 1911 its awesome
After shooting derr precision 1911
Eh its ok now, lol

Decent gun for sure. The problem is that on top of 1911 market being low, the SW ones are unpopular with 1911 snobs due to the external extractor and drilled chamber. You'd be lucky to get $1500 I think.

While that's decent advice to determine ballpark value, there's two things going on with Gunbroker that OP should keep in mind. First, those values are often inflated a little due to auction fever. They commonly overstate a sale price in a local market. Secondly, Gunbroker takes a commission off that price.
