Looking for a slicer recommendation

I would like to start having some uniform slices for making jerky and dehydrated sweet potatos for the dogs. I'm not looking for an heirloom. Price point is below $200.

Slicer you may want to try a restaurant supply house for a used one. Check out the link below it may get you started in the right direction.

I've had the butcher slice beef for jerky but it's always come out too thick. I have been using this for a couple of years with good results:

That is a cool slicer/tray thing. If I didnt have so many sweet potatoes to cut up all the time, that would be a great idea.
