Looking for a powder recommendation for .45 ACP

A bit off topic, since the OP is asking about 45, but Clays is a tricky powder with the Fotay - even a slight overcharge can lead to incredibly high pressures in the 40.

Clays can also be tricky with the .45 ACP as it will also develop pressure problems in this caliber. Another potential problem is that Clays reacts inversely to temperature increases. Clays loads that work just fine in balmy weather can also develop pressure problems in winter months.

To me titegroup is fine, however some other decent powders which are potentially available and work well are CFE pistol and 700-X, although that one basically wont meter since its flakes.
