Looking for a basic gun safety class in or near Bellingham

A friend of mine never got a new FID from when the law got changed (I'm holding onto his rifle for the time being!). He lives in Bellingham, so I was wondering if there are any instructors here who are in that area of MA.

Bob is looking to take the class in January or some time after that.

NOTE: He may not need a course. If he was licensed in '98, he's covered:

Persons lawfully possessing a firearm identification card or license to carry firearms on June 1, 1998 shall be exempt from the provisions of this section upon expiration of such card or license and when applying for licensure as required under this chapter.

He was, AFAIK. Don't know if he's still got the card; I'll have to check.

Worcester PD gives the class for something like $35.00. He can call them and make the arrangements from there.

Holliston Sportsman's club is close and if you look on thier main page they are starting a class tomorrow 12/8 which you may be able to get into. This is where I took mine.

Oddly enough I ran into John N. from the Holliston club at Lodge last night. I'll be passing this info to my buddy tonight when I see him at OUR Lodge. (Darned Freemasons are everywhere... )
