Longest anyone has waited for thier LTC

thats who i spoke to....he was the one I interviewed with as well, super guy i don't see him being the holdup

I just super anxious because i want to have it so i can get a part time job doing armed security or something so i am not so broke

It took me quite awhile because the fingerprints didn't come out right more than once.

I'm waiting for my LTC and this is a huge concern of mine. I've had to be printed previously for security clearances and it never went well. In fact in that instance, they had to bring a "specialist" in.

How did go for you, did you have to go in and reprint? Did they ever get a good enough set, how long did it set you back?

I was told that mine would take 6-8 weeks. It actually took 12 weeks but I called the station every week after week 7. They finally tod me that the machine that prints them (for the whole state) had been broke. I did finally get it though. :D

I am lucky because the Chief here doesn't believe in issueing a Class B and also sees no reason for restrictions because if you are able to get an LTC then you are able to do so with out restrictions. At least that's what I was told.

We eventually got a good set. As I think I said in another post, the problem was that they were not rolling my fingers. I had no idea what the proper way to print was, so I didn't question it. Eventually they figured it out. I was set back -months-, but I don't think that was at the state level. I think the rejections came back in and the PD just sat on it until I would show up again. They never called me about it, and every time I showed up it was "oh they just came in..."

I'm surprised this thread is still going especially after what happened to the guy in swampscott a while back. Just be patient or be impatient but don't be impatient online always updating how long your wait has been.

I always said I would rather wait 6 months for an ALP than 30 days for a restricted license your stuck with for 6 years.

I see, thanks. My concern is that my fingerprints are nearly obliterated from the type of work I do. I'll keep them crossed.

Call your state Senator or Rep. Basically this same thing happened to me, and I called Sen. Moore. He talked to the folks at CHSB and the Worc PD, and got [STRIKE]it all straightened out for me[/STRIKE] the lazy bas*ds to get off their duffs, open the drawer and give it to me.

i have been waiting now for about 6 months, i called the station a few weeks ago and was told that i was approved they are just waiting to get the actual cards. I think i am being jerked around but dont want to raise a stink in fear that i will be denied

Just remember....when you get to the station.....Everlasting Gobstopper

I was four weeks, my daughter was three weeks and my wife was over seven months. When my wife was applying for her green card back in 1985 someone at INS stole her documents. Her father had been a US citizen since the early 70's and was sponsoring her. It took about two years to straighten it out but I swear there's someone on the left coast that's doing evil things with her documents. Thank God we live in a Green city. The Lt. really went the extra mile and brought her LTC-A by the house on his way home. He apologized for the delay.

I was going to post you will most likely get it in the mail in the next day - AWESOME!!!
Now go out and get your 870 (if i remember correctly) so I can shoot it :)

Definitely can't wait to get the 870; unfortunately I have to take care of some car issues first.
