I'm working on a project that has gone a bit sideways.
It's a frame with a beavertail that I have extended.
Unfortunately the casting and perhaps some of my welding has left small pits in the metal which I can't seem to fill. The metal is pretty thin so there is a risk of burning through to the other side.
Anyone know any very precise TIG welders in MA or NH that could help out with some paid work?
Note - I have a TIG and have done my fair share of welding years ago. I'm not capable of doing this due to experience or maybe some equipment issues. I just get the sense right now that I may struggle with no end in sight. Someone with more experience likely will not.
I remember years ago when I learned how to TIG that I heard myths of people who could weld aluminum foil together. I am looking for this type of unicorn.
