Anyone loading 75gr Horn's BTHP or 80gr SMK's using Re15? These are going to be my new match loads and just looking for a place to start.

It seems all the guys that shoot the matches at NFGA use 24.5gr RE-15 accross the board. They say it seems to be stable enough for all bullet weights.

This ofcourse is second hand knowledge, YMMV

Just FYI - I loaded up 175 rounds of 75's in LC brass and WSR primers.

I loaded each at 24.5 gr's of Re 15 which is what I loaded 69's at. The max is 24.9 so these will be a little on the hot side. I know I should have worked up a bunch of different loads but I just don't have the ability to get out and do the testing.

I'm still trying to figure out a load for 80's. 24.5 is max so I'm thinking of starting around 23.5.

Any thoughts?
