I was just curious if anyone on NES has taken any of Bean's sporting clay classes?

I was thinking it might be fun to do with my dad. He really isn't too interested in rifle/pistol shooting but has recently expressed some interest in trap/skeet. I thought it might be a good introduction for both of us.

Thanks,
Nathaniel

My wife and I took the one day class last year. The instructors were good. It's actually done on their 5 stand course, not regular sporting clays.

Check the posts here and on goal.org for sportsman's clubs and make a few phone calls. There are several clubs (I dont know where you are.) around here which offer introductory classes for free or at a low cost.

I'm in Boston and a BRP member but my folks are up on the North Shore. Too bad I missed the last beginner day for Fitchburg, looks like a great intro. I checked with GOAL (finally can put my membership to good use) and there is a course in Leominster next month that looks like it should do the trick.

Thanks.

There is one offered at Fitchburg Sportsman's club in Ashburnham. (http://www.fitchburgsportsmensclub.org/index.htm)
