I attended the POSA "Cops4Kids" match this weekend and made some interesting observations.
One of my questions though revolves around the lanyard that I saw on several lights.
Is the lanyard not a bit too long? Is it not more or less permanently attached to the light? Is it not a perfect tool for choking the officer with his own light if he/she is wearing it around his/her neck? Is there "break away" capability?
In any case, I made a change to my Surefire 6P that helps me to use the lights, and keep it close by, without having it present an entanglement possibility.
Rock on.
